Seriously, it is damn near impossible to get coal these days. My closest source for coal is the reservation in the "Four-Corners" area... that is like a 400 mile drive.

Help! I might need some coal too. Lows have been at about zero Fahrenheit each night. The sun is out today but that wind feels like a walk-in freezer. They say that it will snow tonight. They SAY that it will snow tonight. That's what they SAY. Ha-ha-ha-hA.

OK. The members of the site have spoken through their votes and if I'm reading the poll results correctly, the majority of the members that voted are in favor of restoring the reputation point system, so please turn them back on and restore everyone's well deserved points.

If you don't want to abide by the results of the poll, why did you put it up for a vote in the first place?

Please don't mess with the site and it's format. I liked fine just the way it was and No, I don't want coal in my stocking. I've been a very good girl this year and deserve better.

Going without has taught me to focus on join dates and number of posts.

That gives the same information as sun bursts and dashes.

Newbies give me the hardest time and I can spot them by the current system.

Hardest time translates to Newbies coming in and uploading all over without looking through older threads for information of interest to them and possibly posting a reply on such a thread. C'est Moi.

I have noticed a blog function I have not explored.

Might such blogs serve as a public area to bravo or diss uploads rather then points?

Sort of public, PM's. Yes P can be for Public too. Took me a few neurons.

Possibly set a maximum to the power a senior, non moderator, member might effect a reputation.

Reputation points system is turned back on. I am not sure if we have the negative system turned off or not. If not, and folks are handing that out, I will stamp on you as freely as you hand it out. Still exploring to find the way around the back room and deal with that shit. System has as many nooks and cranny's as any old Victorian House...
