I have made the 72 hour mark and do not know unless pain lets up overnight if I will be able to work tomorrow will see. I am wondering what the possibility of once working completely over time.

An update from me.

I definately found the nurofen (ibuprofen) to be more effective than the panadol (paracetamol). My doctor actually suggested that the nurofen would help far more with the swelling than the panadol.

Despite this, the pain along with the nausea got too much to bare, so I checked into the ER.

They did an ultrasound and concluded it was an infection. (nothing other than infection luckily)

The antibiotics seem to have reduced the fever and nausea and the morphene tablets certainly helped with the pain.

And a quick update from me

Took two paracetamol at bed time and that was that, had a relatively good night's sleep and now have no pain other than very sensitive balls. Both are hard to the touch and the right seems about three times the size of the left, though the left was a lot smaller to start with. Could feel the right during my workout this morning which was a bit irritating, and can feel it now, both seem to have retracted up to the roof of my scrotum.

Because I'm on Test injections I shall only know there is an effect when they start shrinking, once they've shrivelled my intention is to stop the Test injections for a while, check they don't recover and that I start getting the symptoms of low test levels, then trundle along to my doctor .................

It is 3.5 days now and in the night was the closest to deciding to go to the doctor but over the last few hours the pain subsided a lot and the swelling went down a little. The pain in the night got excruciating then dropped a bunch to the level of tender!! Think I am going to try to take it easy today if I can so hopefully by tomorrow will more back to normal to be able to work.

Thanks for the support hopper. I think the hospital is definitely the place to be at the moment given the pain levels I've been experiencing so far. Thank god for Eendone.

Starfoxy Hope things start getting better quickly!

I have thought about the doc some then when I think I can't take it I will see some improvement.Still painful but not as bad as last night! I was hoping to be farther along by now as far as being able to do stuff. I cannot tell much as far as effect on sex drive because all focus has been in dealing with pain! For what ever reason I have not had an erection in a couple of days. This is good because that I am sure would not help! My left testicle is swollen but dos not hurt but the right is swollen and painful.

Good Day To All

Two days in, and I have no pain other than my balls are very swollen and tender to the touch, the right being more so than the left. This resulted in some shooting pains when bending down at work today and getting in and out of the car etc but nothing too awful.

I get erections but dont' seem to be able to cum.
