Big brother 🐈 keeps growing. I have the largest cat box on the market and believe I need to find something bigger.
🐱🛍️

I bought this litter box a few months ago to give one of my two more room http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HH ... UTF8&psc=1

The who needs it used to be near 17lbs at her biggest, but since Brittany died a few years ago she's dropped down to a more normal weight (she always ate her own can and Brittany's). The youngest eats dry food mainly.

As for treats I try and keep variety in flavors and brands.

She cried this mournful "meow" to announce her kill, devoured it

and still licking her chops

came inside to demand kitty food. With seconds. Now she naps.

The 🐈 brothers are as previously reported.

Rupert is a

1) monkey

2) parrot

3) dog

4) invisible pink unicorn

5) none of the above

And

Why Are YOU being so mean, Dear River DEAR 🤗

How is Rupert BTW ? We have had NO Rupert report for a long, long, time.

Frontline Plus has failed this summer so I added Capstar tablets for Big Siamese 🐈 Solly and OFBK. :kittygray

It seems to be working.

If the big guys are under control, little Izzy 🐈 does okay too.

Rupert's bird killing days are over, he is strictly a house cat and never ever goes outside. Yes he is doing fine.

Flea 😱 Season

I look at the white linens on my bed and there is the unmistakable near microscopic

flea shit.

Social time with a cat costs me some flea bites.

Capstar and Frontline Plus is just not working.

Today I doused them all with Sentry Flea Spray for cats.

Not those new expensive biologicals but the old fashion insect poisons.

Moi ? I am oiled in DEET.

No one is scratching. I hope it lasts at least 2 weeks of the advertised 30 days.

One of the worst places we ever lived for flees was Oxnard Calif. I think they had 27 different kinds. We tried everything on our dogs, but found kennel dust AKA Seven and feeding the dogs yeast in their diet. Of course the yeast does not work on cats but the kennel dust would.

Ah yes, I remember flea dust. 🥴

I use to rub it into my black and gray and tabby, Persian and then if I tapped him

there would be a cloud of dust.

Yes it worked back in the day but, Blackie was not an inside cat until his old age.

And that dust is messy inside a house.

If I did consider using the above product it would have to be approved for cats.

Cats and dogs have very different toxicologies and lots of people, including a girl friend

lost a dog because the vet used cat flea bath and visa versa happens too.

🆕🐈

Blackie was my cat from age 8 - 21

In the early years we lived in the Hollywood Hills.

I would call Blackie and there would eventually be a rustling in the growth moving down hill toward me.

When he broke through the brush, the pace slowed to leisurely kitty walk.

I have always managed to train cats to come when called. If they wanted to come, that is.

My neighbors are dumb founded. One I taught to communicate in cat

and later he 'fessed he and cat were closer.

Too many cat servers think cat's are loners that don't respond. Poor kitties.

Just remembering Blackie. He was the best at coming when called.

Before I nixed Rupert going out, he always came running when I called, talking to me the whole way. Rupert has several different meow's that I have learned to respond to. I know it sounds funny but yes, he tells me what he wants, what really upsets him is when I tell him NO. He had one Meow that when he told me he would run to the door, I would let him out then call talula's and tell them Rupert was on the way, they would go to the door and there would be Rupert wanting to go in. He then talked in cat to their cat Sam, the two would play for the next couple days, when Rupert would go to the door and with that meow, Gemm or talula would open the door then call me, and yes I would go to the door and Rupert would come in glad to see me and want attention.

River

Cats do talk to you, but are you paying attention to them?

Tonight I made a 8 chicken drum sticks. OFBK got 2 handfuls of minced chicken over 4 servings.

I got the rest of 6 with 2 left over.

🐱

A package of 16 Foster's Farms drum sticks for $4.40 dated 9/17 👅

And I do ❤️ chicken drumsticks
