From my experience it is doubtful that any infection is involved since both ethyl alcohol and calcium chloride kill bacteria. What is happening is that your scrotum is extremely irritated and swollen. There are raw areas inside the scrotum and the epipdymitis which are causing scaring and binding together. If you are examined now, probably the first impression will be a

massive infection which they will then give you an antibiotic. From my experience if you can live with the pain for another week or so, most of the thickening and sagging of the scrotum should be gone. You will still have to work with the testicle

to dislodge it. This very painful but if you work at it slowly I believe it should be ok.

I would discourage informing your physician or urologist what has caused your condition. From my experience I did tell one of the urologist with the condition that it remain confidential. Next thing I found out was he had not taken written notes but when he gave the information in recording them, the records were emailed to every contact that was related to treating me for testicular pain. When I contacted him, he was very apologetic as he did not realize his notes were not filed away as they use to be with paper. The testes can have multiple unexplained symptoms which the urologist and radiologist have no answers. Unless you have a very sympathetic urologist they will not do a voluntary orchiectomy. If and when you visit the urologist tell them that it just happened and you have not real idea why?

The alcohol injections will probably have the same overall affect on testicle as calcium chloride. The major difference is that alcohol takes multiple injections over a period of several months or longer. Calcium chloride injected correctly will probably do the damage in one or two injections Generally alcohol injections can cause minor to pretty painful results but usually do not last for long, probably a couple of days. The scrotum is not normally involved. From my experience any leakage from calcium chloride caused major problems. Expect even if you are very careful with calcium chloride to experience discomfort and pain for at least a week. Weigh the advantages or disadvantages of each and decide. Neither of these options are without risk and if you do not feel comfortable I would go with drugs that chemically castrate you.

I just did it with 1.5ml which was over 40% mixed with Everclear at a ratio of 4 parts CC to ! part everclear. the injection went well. Started an Ibuprrophen regimen before hand. All the posts here helped tremendously!! Thanks To Everyone

5 hours after and very little pain yet maybe the Ibuprophen is working. Will see how the night goes.

14 hours post injection and there is a fairly significant pain but for me bearable.I am thinking the testicles never having had any damage from "injections" before may have had an effect on why delay in swelling and pain. This did make for some anxiety doing this as a fist for injecting my balls to make sure the needle was right as I for sure did not want any spillage or leakage!! The testicles and scrotum are swollen to several times normal and the pain is all internal above and in the low back. From what I had read I was expecting excruciating pain but as of yet nothing can't be coped with. I think I had prepared my self for a few days of torture which so far I am glad not not to have! There is some liquid present as when having foreplay. One thing is for sure there is no turning back as you could with straight alcohol injections after one injection. But on the other hand as long AS POSITIVE it is what is right only for you one injection has a lot of appeal! If attempting to feel the testicles I can not because the pain goes up dramatically when trying to so I can't tell how much the balls have swollen but the whole thing is multiple times normal. I read the articles and all over and over and watched all videos I could find before doing it. I washed and rubbed hands and whole genitals and rubbed all down with rubbing alcohol before injecting. I boiled everything I used in preparing the mixture for over a half hour.I sanitized everything!!!!

26 hours post injection I had to go to work which I thought I would have today and the weekend off but a customer called. I had to run a chain saw and an excavator to clean up some blow down trees. As a result quite a bit of pain but mostly subsided since getting home and relaxing. There is considerable swelling and very tender to touch. Some have asked if I thought about the different results and yes I have but nobody really knows till time happens. I have made up my mind to have a positive attitude and not play the what if game as it will change nothing now! Thanks to those who have shown support.

I've been following this thread for quite some time as i have major issues with my masculinity. In the past I have tried banding (but had little success past about the 2 hour mark, as well as paranoia around blood clots) This concept seemed almost too good to be true, and I have finally acted, I just registered an account to let you all know how it's going.

Around 4 hours ago (first thing on a Saturday morning here) I injected 0.5ml of 50% calcium chloride with 0.25ml of Spiritus (95% vodka) into each testicle

The picture wasn't too clear and i thought it was going to be 30%, but lucky me, the bottle that turned up was actually labeled 50%

The initial injection was relatively painless, with just a slight pinch pushing the plunger in. Although for the first testicle the pinch did give me a bit of a shock so I only put about half in. I did the second testicle, and then put a new tip on the first syringe and put the rest into the first one.

I was relatively pain free for the first few hours, until it steadily started building at around the 2-3 hour mark, to the point where i felt like i couldn't walk around or move (Around a 7/10). The only painkillers i have access to at the moment is Panadol rapid so this was a little concerning. A hot shower at this point proved to be my saving grace, reducing it to almost nothing. After the shower it has started to build again but nowhere near as bad (maybe a 4/10).

I have been very excited about the whole process and am currently on a bit of a high with the fact that it is actually underway.

The ultimate goal Is a medical diagnosis that facilitates complete removal. I plan to wait about 2 months and the approach my doctor with complaints of pain and a change in shape and feel.

Just past 36 hours. Fairly strong pain but not as bad as last night after working! Not bad at all till walking or touching. Still swelled a lot can't tell how much is testicles swelling. It is interesting trying to figure out how much and percentages as there are so many variables I am hoping that what I used is good for one shot as I have no desire of doing twice! I never had very large testicles and the pain so far has been maybe a little more than vasectomy experience.

I've just passed the 24 hour mark. That was probably one of the worst nights of my life... There was the constant pain in the testicles (again back up to a 7/10 on my pain scale). On top of that, I had a fever, nausea, vomiting & sweating.

I caved in and went to see my doctor this morning fearing infection. I described all the symptoms, but downplayed the pain in the testes (although she managed to notice that they were swollen). I had had an infection a number of years ago in the testes so she assumed it was most likely a re-occurrence of this and proscribed antibiotics, nurofen, along with taking a blood sample, giving me a referral for an ultrasound and making a followup appointment for a few days time.

Now I am just hoping that the ultrasound doesn't reveal too much... I'm going to put it off as long as possible before the followup appointment.
