Phoenix weather report yesterday was lows getting down to the bone chilling 40s. But it is a dry cold,

It's 55F and pouring rain here.

-14c here, but almost no wind, and at least SOME snow on the ground (patches of green in my lawn, but roads are pretty treacherous with frozen, bumpy ice that was melted a few days ago).

Not totally unusual for the area, but a normal winter would have us at -25 and snow piled up a foot deep around the house.

Jeez, that is below a bone chilling 40 F.
