In Munich private jet headed for 'global warming' conference in Dubai... froze to the runway :-D

If this isn't ironic - I do not know what is. (well, if that piece of news was true)

PS. It was +20°C during Friday and Saturday in this piece of Southern Europe. Got to love first day of winter ;-)

G3 (STRONG) GEOMAGNETIC STORM OBSERVED ON 01 DEC

published: Saturday, December 02, 2023 21:09 UTC

G3 (Strong) geomagnetic storm conditions were observed during the 01/0900-1200 UTC synoptic period. The increase in geomagnetic activity was primarily caused by a coronal mass ejection (CME) associated with an M9.9 (R2-Moderate) flare at 28/1950 UTC which joined several other lesser CMEs that were already inbound towards Earth. The near-Earth space environment is expected to continue under these enhanced conditions into 02 Dec.

Good for you! I was thinking of asking how you are doing. Sounds like OK.

Moi, Moi, Moi. Time for a report from the land of permanent perfection. Got my ass rained on and dogs are tracking in mud. You get any of that?

I think it only got to the upper 40's here, but that was a good thing... A day or so ago I noticed our mailbox was getting VERY wobbly, and investigation showed it was all but rotted through at the base... So today I got up early, and went to sLowes and got a bunch of cement blocks and a bag of mortar... I have now built a collar of cement blocks around the post, two blocks high... Definitely a major challenge when you have no trunk muscles and are trying to move the blocks around while hanging off the side of a wheelchair... I managed to kill the batteries in the chair about the same time I ran out of light, so had a forced stop on the project. Tomorrow I get to (hopefully) go back out and finish filling all the holes in the blocks with concrete... I hate doing masonry work...
