A second thought on this morning:
a) NBC is playing live soccer -- yay.
b) and the BOO is that they are playing every game opposite each other game so you can only watch one and not all

There's also the two hour special "Naked and Afraid Pop Up" ... Now you know the premise of that show -- people are dropped on a tropical location naked and left to fend for themselves? They added "pop-up" captions... The premise just boggles my mind with its cheesiness and "TV is a vast wasteland" stupidity.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are playing the Stanley Cup Finals and they have won the first two games.
(I say this because hockey is my go to distraction from the very, very, very unmentionable subject on the EA)
I might even have to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers play basketball and I hate televised basketball.

The Pittsburgh Symphony concert today was Mahler's Second Symphony in Cminor.
It is a transcendent piece of music.
If you ever get the chance to hear it live. Do it.
It is 5 movements with massive orchestra and full chorus.
The 4th movement is a setting of the poem "UrLicht" (Primeval Light) from Des Knaben Wunderhorn (The Youth's Magic Horn). If you want to hear this alone, search for Jessye Norman.
The fifth movement has a brass band and timpani offstage and the full chorus.

Old Joke time:
Q: How many surrealists does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Two, one to hold the giraffe, and the other to fill the bathtub with brightly colored machine tools.

Q: How many existentialists does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
A: Two. One to screw it in and one to observe how the lightbulb itself symbolizes a single incandescent beacon of subjective reality in a netherworld of endless absurdity reaching out toward a maudlin cosmos of nothingness.

An equally valid answer to the question about Surrealists is "shrimp."

Re: vaporous entities and musings (in other words - BS)
One of my (now erstwhile) friends on Facebook was thrilled with those "Your something name" websites and found all these bizarre sites at least once a day.
So yesterday's website was "Your Stripper Name" which was supposed to be my last color of underwear and the last food I ate.
I said "Skidmark Chicken" which didn't go over to well. I got de-friended.
I'm crushed...
seriously, crushed, I wouldn't lie about that...
PS: sarcasm might be involved in this post.

I am not enjoying TNT's new story "WILL" about William Shakespeare.
I give it a few more weeks to see what happens in it.
