First Moi, we moved the clocks back so now the sun is up by just after 7AM and gone by 4:45. it will get shorter as we get into December. As such its getting cold, or cooler, down below freezing at night up in the 40 or 50's in the day but that will change, we have not had snow yet, its only a matter of time. Last year we got about 90 inches. 5th snowiest winter on record. So today is was nice, the leaves are mostly down, the wind is picking up, its getting colder, in a month it will be white outside and stay that way until April. That just the way it is.

The day was clouds. Sometimes in solid sheets, some in puffs or other small islands.

The promised Friday to Sunday rain and showers seems to have fizzled :(

Maybe some sprinkles will appear or even rain for a five hour period. A whole quarter of an inch.

The storm has stalled and instead is storing my water in the Sierras.

Atmospherics and Autumn are most pleasant at this time. I do like a few days of rain.

Still no rain or snow, WOOT, but it looks like it will rain next week, temp is still in the high 40's, inching into the 50 range, this is good for November.

Fog tonight. Thick fog. Good set for a film noir.

Gray all day until a mile or so more inland.

Threatening rain Friday and Sunday/Monday but recent storms have stayed out to sea.

It use to be on such night I would hear the fog horn It seems to have faded with the transition to electronic navigation, radar and such. They must have a cell phone ring that sounds like a fog horn. Clear and base and not to be confused with a bodily function if it goes off in public.

This morning 2" of snow in the front yard, more falling here and maybe a foot more today just to the west in the cascades. I love winter :-).

As I look out my front window everything keeps getting whiter, even the birds that use the feeder have not come by, I was going to go out today but why? I don't mind the white, its clean fresh unspoiled now if it did not come with the cold as well all would be good. Tomorrow it should be bake in the high 40' so the white stuff will leave, as quietly as it came and the best part of it is there is so little of it, that the shoveling can wait for another day.

Southern California got "rain", several little bursts over hours. On & off style

Not sure if it made it to an inch, or even half that. But, the ground is wet and the air is clean except for the neighborhood fire places. I am tempted to set up a trash incinerator and when they come to get me; I would ask about those monster fire places people stoke up as if powering the Titanic.

Autumn colors are lingering a long time this year.

Remember, if you are tired of rain, send it my way. 🙏
