Today, mark your calendars, with 4 hours less sun then mid June it was 88deg. that was the hottest day on record beating the old record set in 1879 yes over one hundred years ago and tomorrow is going to be another beautiful HOT day here in paradise.

The promised rain has arrived. Not a gully washer but hours and hours of sod soaker.
Oregon Mist to Drizzle to light rain with moments of moderate rain.
It seems to be clearing

Estimate 3/4 of an inch in my rain gauge bowl.

October 12. Summer has arrived. The official government temperature is 94F but my thermometer sez 90F.
There is no breeze, warm or cool and the sunlite has a hot burning feeling. Big difference in "feels like" between sun and shade.
If we have to have Summer heat, I'd rather have it postponed to October like the last three years. And after the first rains.
Yea Global Warming. I like it. More rain. Less Summer heat.

After two weeks of 80+ deg weather today it dropped and rained, and rained, an inch or so, we really needed it, I do hope it warms back up just a little longer as I really am not ready for winter yet. No I am not ready, NO no no sigh no.

Lovely Autumn weather but, still that special smell is not there.
Tonight is a thick pea soup fog. No rain in the forecast. Send rain please.

This evening I had the pleasure of watching one of natures finest light shows, a fast moving thunderstorm in the Midwest. It was not particularly impressive as such things go but this has been a strange year for weather.

Wow, it's +45F here now, rainy and windy.
I do miss the +110F heat indexes of the summer!
It's only 80F in my room/office, and I don't know if I'm going to survive winter or not.
Insulated underwear, flannel PJ's, and a fleece robe, and I'm still cold.

Yep, its turned cold here too, put flannel sheets down tonight last night I like to froze, added another thin blanket giving me now two, maybe I should get a third one ready.
Went out tonight and had to put my hoodie on. damn and its still Oct. long pants socks and sandals its not cold enough for shoes yet.
Weather man/lady said down to 39 tonight or lower. Set my heater for the house at 55 as I don't want it to get to cold.
P, you need some bread of some sort in your diet, it will warm you up.
