Its 9:30 AM and its -9 deg with the wind chill, -22
It looks like the NFL playoff game Green Bay and the 49ers will be played at about -25 - this could be the coldest game in NFL history.
Foot note: Rogers the QB for Green Bay is from California, Kaepernick the QB for the 49ers is from Milwaukee.
It should be an interesting game.
Hawaii in a month, thank god.

Yep, it is time to put on a long sleeve shirt, socks and boots. I might even wear a coat and hat. --FLO--

Yea. I'm gonna have to look around and find some gloves. I think some are in a box in the bottom of a pile in the garage. If not, I'll wait till spring when they go on sale to get some more.

Fucking snow.
I HATE snow.
We've got a foot of it now, and it shows no signs of stopping!
Power flickering, that's all right - I got a battery backup and battery operated laptop, and a cell phone.

I am not going outside today or tomorrow for nothing and nobody, the dog is on her own - clip on the lead and let her run.
And to think in a month I will be in sandals, shorts, t-shirt and straw hat to keep the sun off my head wondering if I should shut the window because its 66deg.
No I will not miss this cold, not ever.

I opened the back door of the porch and the beagle ran into at LEAST a foot of snow.
It's heavy and wet.
The road grader actually went! I could NOT believe it! I thought I was hallucinating, until I realized he'd left me a 3' tall wall of snow at the end of the drive, perfect for ripping out gas lines, brake lines, tranny lines, you name it. So I had to bust that up.
Amazingly, after a few minutes of shoveling, my pulse rate went right back down to normal. I never got out of breath, either, although the swinging did do a number on my back.
Yes, the snow is up over my boots, which are knee-high!
And it's still coming down...
However, it is 32F above, and I worked up a bit of a sweat. If that wall of snow had frozen, I'd have been stuck!
Not sure I'm going out tomorrow either.
Fuck work.

I am not sure what is worse, over a foot of snow and 32deg or no snow and -32deg. At least with the no snow I don't need to go out and shovel.

Just got back. The world is a hive of activity and there were people coming in to the coffee shop for a hot drink and cookies and some laughs. Enjoyed it out there.

Maybe your part of this frozen tundra but here nothing stirs, even the highway is quiet.
