Moscow is... from what I know - it is not outside the usual for them. But cold and snowy one, yes.

Here - not even the coldest winter, just cold enough to be unpleasant (listens to howling of the wind outside). Not even the snowiest

PS. As local city services like to say: 'winter arrived suddenly'. But here, city is, surprisingly, decently cleaned. Don't know what happened, but it is.

The winter storm has arrived here with blowing and drifting snow in west/central IN/IL, and is living up to its prophesied reputation. There's already 12" (30cm) drifts in the driveway. I don't think I'm going out tomorrow. Someone ran a plow down the road (a private citizen, I think) and within 2 hours, the road was gone again!

Moscow Idaho is digging out from the white stuff too!

Looks like 6" here near Terre Haute, IN so far, and a 1-foot tall snowplow edge at the drive, as well as an 18" drift in front of the garage. Temperature is +11F with wind chill below 0.
