Zinger cold front yesterday. Kicked up dust and dropped my mileage by 15% after pre-frontal SW winds changed to N winds. Just my luck. Happen to have wife with me and later will be driving by hot springs. Even have towels, but probably too uncomfortable for skinny dipping. For that, have to go visit Jesus in the land of milk, honey and nudity.

After a reprieve from hot, dry weather w/o rain
we had a Santa Ana wind event.

Not so hot, but dry and wind blowing 30mph.
In a few hours the canyon country went ablaze.

About 60,000 people are under evacuation orders due to the Silverado Fire.
The fire started near Santiago Canyon and Silverado Canyon roads and quickly chewed through thousands of acres hours laters.
Most of Southern California is under a red flag fire weather warning through Tuesday due to dry and windy conditions.
The air is smoke filled. Stinky.
Don't worry about Moi. I am okay and miles away.
The fire would have to hit many residential and business areas to make it to me.

The air quality has been "Unhealthy" these last weeks.
My residual asthma reacts. Albuterol inhaler as needed pretty regular.
The good news is some rain coming (0.5" with luck) and wind from the west,
over the ocean.
That should deliver clean air. And maybe finally extinguish the fires.
Some trees glorious with Autumn colors.
NO ONE HAS WEATHER THESE LAST WEEKS?

Funny you should mention weather. We have some. It has been ridiculously warm this fall. I still have not worn a jacket. 20 years ago it was parka city by now. Fall leaves are drab orange-browns. Pre-frontal winds are kicking up and we have a shot at snow showers Sunday.

The colored leaves are mostly gone, but we've got about a week of sunny weather with highs in the 70F range or higher coming. Maybe even near 80. I'm sure we'll pay for it next week.
I was dreading the wedding I shot last week, but it turned out to be a nice day and there plenty of oaks with leaves to provide shade and color.

5/8ths inches of rain over several days
becoming chilly strong winds ( 30mph+)
from over the ocean a mile away.
Air Quality finally not unhealthy after over a month of it.
Actually rated as "Good" today.
Harvested a few pecans.
Like to leave them in a gas oven with pilot light heat
for a few days. I had a fifties gas range fixed up.
Glad I put it outside on a patio because those steel ranges
hold and radiate HEAT.

Homey it sounds.
We all construct our own realities and I have definitely heard of worse than yours.

No precipitation.
No weatherful experiences.
Low in the low fifties. But, it is a cold that cut through you.
High in the mid to upper sixties. Sunny.
Smazy to clear sky with moderate air quality effecting my asthmatic tendencies.
No fronts or major wind coming from over the ocean
Check out this link for weather.

Set for mine but, see how you like it for your own weather.
Those few trees that turn Autumny colors are doing it.
The cats sleep.

I believe it was February '76
the temperature shot up to the mid fifties.
It felt warm and T-shirt weather although
there was snow all around. I played frisbee in the park.
The next Winter was a dry one with dusty/powdery snow.
Although I was over dressed by their standards, that Winter
got through my thick gloves into my hands.
Fingers got stiff. Finger joints red & swollen.
I liked Milwaukee, the people, and the "town" atmosphere.
But, I am not designed for those Winters.
I had to give up the best brats and return to S. California.
