:kittygray O.F.B.K. decided to go on a hunt today and returned to the back yard in an hour with

a fat, mostly dead, rat. After consumption she still demanded "cat food".

The 🐈 brothers sleep.

I have a pair, Flip and Flop-about the only pair of anything I've got left-and they are a part of a succession of Flips and Flops. My favourites were a pair of Caracals that I had at my home in Cape Town. These were not meant to be domesticated and only by really pushing the definition could I say they approached that. However, as these things will happen, they imprinted on me and I could do wrong. The rest of the household...was another story. I was quite young then and so the stench and the chaos that became my bedroom hardly bothered me although this was not a consensus opinion. They could leap twelve feet in the air to catch their own food-a useful attribute in a household pet-but they could also scale the walls around the compound. They might have got away with the awful deed involving the neighbor's Spaniel but they brought part of it home with them, sort of a tribute and proof they were mighty hunters. That got them shipped off to an animal shelter in the Caprivi Strip...and led to A. A cleaner room and B. the next pair of Flips and Flops who were completely domesticated.

I think I may have posted this before several pages back. I'm old, forgetful, forgive if there's redundancy.

No I don't

I oppose this banding, tagging, collaring an animal and claiming it is 👌

This is no way to study Biology because it is impacting the critter.

This cat got stressed out which could be a deciding factor whether it lives or dies.

This type of Biology killed some of the last Condor chicks in the wild before re-introduction.

I never liked it since first learning as a kid how they banded birds around the leg.

:(

Moi, they have been doing this successfully on all kinds of animals for years. you may be the only person who has a problem with this.

both my dogs left inner ears are tattooed with a serial. tagging is pretty common moi. its a sweet way of keeping track of fuzzy population statistical wise.

We do it all the time here with deer Moi. Keep on tagging them so they won't stir trouble on the highway. These tags have useful radio frequency tracking signals for ease of detection.

Im not much for wild animmals River, cuz theyre dangerous, except I do want a fennec fox. Theyd sure would tire my 2 dogs at home

I would feed fennec foxes with raw or slightly cooked organic chicken with some lightly simmered egg yolks and fruit of all sort
