I can answer that, about the same distance as you are from Memphis or about 350 miles or 6.5 hours.

Dont tell moi, its only in the low 70's not 80 like he says and next week in the mid 50's,

70 is normal for Jan 1st, not 80 now 80 is Hawaii weather.

If the News is to be, believed - a major combination of storm systems is headed to the

EA :hearthrob Land

destined for storminess over the Christmas holidays.

Do check in, if you can get online and share the joys to the twinkling ice dragging down the phone lines.

Etc. Etc. And the driving too.

Share your blizzardness here please.

Next year, from Hawai'i, River DEAR will know the joy of reading uploads from , , current blizzard witnesses.

I wish him one last mega taste of MidWest record snow before he departs to warmer climes.

I fondly remember walking into the house and looking in a mirror to see my mustache frozen over ala Zhivago.

"Fondly remember" because it was so long, long ago. And that was just Milwaukee, with the good lake effect.

Al Jazerra spends the first 10 minutes of it's American station broadcast on the

Nor'ester of the day.

The cold & stormy coming across the northern plains to meet with an Atlantic coastal warmer & stormy weather, just short one front of the "Perfect Storm".

However, it does seem to be a respectable nor'easter with Boston strong closing down tomorrow, 1/3/14

This storm still missed my hopes for the EA :hearthrobLand by River's run.

I guess that takes a contribution from 🇨🇦 and they have not been contributing much of late.

Positioning those three H pressure areas from the Pacific to the Atlantic leave us on our own 😠

Well, at least those beyond that influence can enjoy a good Blizzard.

Please share here.

Stay inside.

Stay warm.

Don't be adventurous or brave -

as opposed to getting well dressed and enjoying "the elements" in action. I do love a good storm walk. Really.

AND do stay online and share, share, share.

Pray for a California deluge and a Au Revoir stormy event for River before he abandons those Pagan deities of this dark season.

BECAUSE

We deserve it ! :D

What is this cold and frosty weather you're all referring to? I'm enjoying summer in January, which is odd for the northern hemisphere.

If Al Jazeera nailed it, I do hope and believe you are in for a memorable Saturday/Sunday event.

I have to watch Fargo, A.J. said it will be -54F there. Ya, it looks like it's gonna be a cold one, ya

That is Saturday 1/4 through Sunday 1/5 as it leaves Dakota eastward into the EA :hearthrob Land.

Have a good one. 🙄

The last time should me a memorable one, not a so so one.

and the wind is blowing which makes the wind chill even lower, it is not fit for man or beast out there.

Yes time to watch Fargo, they really talk that way.

At least his dog can go back home now.
