Last couple of days or so, we've been getting mid-40s F. All the sludge and ice in the driveway melted and coated the rest of the driveway. I couldn't get m y 3/4 Ton truck out of the driveway. Took the princess mobile over to home depot and bot 6 ea 50# bags of Salt. Princess did not like it - he had to handle / carry the salt bags; I couldn't, walking with crutches.

The day after GroundHog day when Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow,
Just south of Pittsburgh (About 80 miles away) it was 62F and sunny. I had windows open to get fresh air in the house.
So much for winter.

When are though fools at the BBB gone to stop abusing that poor critter Canada Jane and her Flock.

The cats' fur still crackles when I pet one.
No precip since last upload.
It appears the great Middle and Atlantic places are taking a beating

Cold 5 inches of snow partly sunny. Better than Wednesday night had an ice storm that made everything slippery and could go out of the house until late afternoon when the roads were cleared. Boy it was slippery trying to get from the house to the car. Everything was glazed in a covering of ice including the car. But the electric never went out.

I lived in Mequon, just north of Milwaukee for a year.
Relatively rural then, now suburban sprawl from Milwaukee.
The morning after an Ice Storm was so crystalline, sparkling, beautiful with
ice on everything. One of the best of Nature I have seen.
Driving in freezing rain much less beautiful.
Two days of wetting that I hoped would soak the Academy Awards
resulted in 1/8 an inch of rain here in The O.C.
I wanted more, more, more.
Now the winds be blowing. Santa Ana Wind

Nothing so dramatic in the "O.C."
No rain, sleet, snow, ice, thunder, . . .
A Santa Ana Wind event is hardly as weatherful
Looks like the E.A. :hearthrobLand is taking a beating.

It's been snowing for 3 days now and we have over 8" of snow and it's still snowing. This is the most snow we had all winter.
