It seems I have pancreatitis plus many smaller problems.
Are they running tests or treating symptoms? Do you have a doctor that you can see, someone who knows you and your medical history? If you could find a fairly competent doctor he might be of more help than seeing a different ER doc or a physicians assistant with each visit. I just want you well.

They did a EKG on me. I asked why and was told "we want to make sure you're not having a heart attack."

That is a good thing since we all need a functioning heart. What other tests did they perform? Pancreatitis is an interesting diagnosis. A friend of mine's mother was admitted to the hospital with that diagnosis. I had known her for years and she did not drink alcohol. The staff was gossiping that she was in denial about her drinking problem. I spoke on her behalf and they still rolled their eyes. Some patients would receive that diagnosis if they looked like drinkers and had similar symptoms. Sadly their assumptions keeps them looking further for the real cause of the pain.

Apparently, the consensus is Pancreatitus. I woke up in terrible pain this morning but it seems to have faded after my nap.

Yesterday my entire diet was one egg and some toast = I still got pain. Today I ate bread and peaches. WE'll see what havoc is wrought.
