He prescribed strong pain killers. I'm still quite sore and some bleeding. Will stop at some time. I must just keep everything clean and make use of salt baths.

Wow, I've tried ethanol injection in the penis twice and it was incredibly painful, although of course the duration is fairly short as it sort of quickly becomes a tingly warm numbness -- but the initial acute pain was too much to bear and I'm a pain slut. I don't know how you could have withstood repeated large injections. I'm impressed. I suppose that through numbing with banding it wouldn't be so bad though, but basically like you said -- anything impinging on the penile or pudendal nerves is going to make life hell.

OH!!!!!! I had a terrible experience last night. About 2:30 AM I went to the toilet and discovered I was bleeding profusely. I left a blood trail from my bedroom right up to the bathroom! Looked like someone has been shot and the victim crawled on the floor leaving a blood trail. Maybe 500 ml to 1 liter of blood!! I put a towel between my legs and got ready to go to the ER. I decided to wait for 30 minutes just to see if the bleeding would stop as I did not want to drive all the way to the ER only to find they telling my that I was paranoid. (The same thing happened to me when I had my tonsils removed 16 months ago). The bleeding did stop till now so I am writing this post with the towel still between my legs. Hope that does not happen again.

Anyway, I took pictures of my removed stump and pee-hole and uploaded it to MBM. Have a look.

...so I keep going. At six hours, my good sense came back and I removed the bands -- it ended up with quite a lymphedema (raised swelling) for quite a while but eventually seems to have made a full recovery. But I really came close to going all the way. In the end, I don't think I want to lose it anymore, but I am highly interested in having it permanently numbed.

Awwww!! You should have left it on! Your penis was actually at the point of dying. You were so close. A few more hours and off to the ER where they would have removed your penis. Your penis should actually be permanently numb or very close, at least. This method is actually quite an easy way to get a penectomy. Strangle it and let professionals remove it.

A six hour banded penis that survived, wow splitdick. Did you use an ealastrator band(s)? I would have thought that after that length of time your penis would have died, but as Yoda said, the penis is tough. I wonder just how much longer you had before you passed the point of no return. I also think that after a certain stage, necrosis sets in and like what happened to you Yoda, the penis turns black after the bands are released. However, what if the band(s) are left on until the penis dies? I've read that the eunuchs in India actually use this method. Here's an excerpt:

It doesn't say when the genitals actually die, but it takes two to three days for them to fall off (slough off). I would guess that the elastrator band would cause cell death at about 8 hours, but I'm not sure. Sure not the way to go, but interesting.

I am actually recovering from a multiple banding session last week; numb now since 10 days.

The last time I injected ethanol into my penis, I ended up in ER, because I did not put it deep enough and the external shaft tissue died. Was an issue for 6 weeks and left permanent scars.

I doubt, that I will ever reinject ethanol into the shaft.
