I don't have the citations in my library but I believe the interpretation is that "legal tender" means it is allowable NOT that it is mandatory. Since it is their territory, you could probably consult a Federal Reserve branch for a more detailed answer. --FLO--

It does not forbid accepting other "tender".

It does require coin of the realm be physically accepted too.

Not electronically or converting to tokens or some privatized currency.

You are right MOI, stand up for your rights to use money, don't let them bully you around but I will bet that after all that they still wont take it. Because the bottom line is that they have decided how it is to be paid, and with what, which is their right and Moi, I am willing to bet that they don't give a rats butt about yours and if you wish to use there system you will do it their way. You can stand on your soap box and bitch all you want but they wont be listing or care.

I wonder 💡

Is this massive Solar Flare headed to Earth and due to arrive 7/14/12;

the product of some abuse of mankind?

They have been happening more frequently according to Chicken Little Alerts.

Maybe we are demanding too much Solar Power, burning the sun too hot?

I refuse to feel so insignificant not to take some responsibility for an epidemic of Solar storms.

We only have one Sol. Treat it well.

We must reduce our reliance on Solar Power!

"A solar storm was due to arrive Saturday morning and last through Sunday, slamming into Earth's magnetic field. Scientists said . . . "

The magnetic fields on the sun twisted and threw out the solar flare.

I know of no man who has that power or claims it.

Go ahead and make fun of the press over solar activity, Moi.

I've been following and studying this for a while, and it's a real threat.

I fully expect a "killshot" to the grid any time now.

I think we should seriously consider making some human sacrifices on the temple very soon.

Yep, when we no longer have electricity anywhere in the country then what?

Remember this is a new technology, 135 years ago it did not exist and next week it may not exist again.

OH NO< what will Moi do, No internet.

What am I saying.

I can think of several people I would nominate for the office, but if I said who the Secret Service would probably get upset.
