I chickened out in Aug 2007!

I was having one of my bad asthma attacks (actually, the whole summer had been a bad asthma season for me) and it was very humid and rainy that weekend. Very bad conditions for me.

So, my asthma served as a convenient excuse not to attend. In August '07 I wasn't ready to face myself. By late October, I was.

I will definitely be involved this year and will do anything I can to assist. I don't want to miss this for anything.

I should mention, before anyone makes any plans, that I will also be doing my best to attend this one. The last MOM was one of the best weeks I've had in many years, and I most definitely want to be there for the next one.

Whether that makes you want to come more, or less, I'll leave up to you. Heheheh.

I have no idea right now about what my schedule or finances will look like by the time August nears. I really would like to come to this event this time.

Hate to admit I was having some reservations myself. I spoke to Jesus and I forget what he told me but I think it was that the "fringe" ubber fetish people rarely attended and that he thought it would be "cool." After going I felt really bad that I was worried it would be some kind of sex fetish crazy cat festival. And thats because I thought everyone was really nice and if they were weird insane or whatever they were my kind of weird / insane people.

BTW I know I'm not everyones cup of tea also and I felt that everyone was very nice to let me sit in on the MOM since I was pre op at that time? Or was I half way done then?? I don't remember.

I spent a fair amount of time talking with a lot of people. I really had a fun time joking around with the Red Sister and Erica Ann. Jesus is a very interesting "academic" type and all around nice gent.

Oh, I'm just going to miss so many names if I go on. It was great. This year for sure you have to make it.

For sure come out and talk to everyone. Forget the one thing we have in common its just a fun group.

Nope, no nudity. At least I did not see any last time. No weird stuff goes on either. Well nothing you can not opt out of joining. I enjoyed the sex shop tour and the leather jock is still modeled from time to time. Seriously it is just a good group of people getting to know each other. Everyone is respected.

I hope to go! But we'll have to see how much money I have closer to August. I'm really excited. I was hoping it would be around the 19th again, my birthday! Oh well lol.
