Christina wishing you the best and hope the doctors can finally treat your pain and reduce it to Zero. Big Hugs :) It was so nice to meet you last Spring at the MOM east. Praying for your recovery from the diagnosed lung cancer.

Well, I went to visit Christina Weds. to run to the store for her. She is still in unbearable pain. She went today (Thurs.) to get fluid removed from her lung again. It is one thing keeping her from eating, but I don't know the correct meaning as to why, so I wont put it here. Hopefully it will take a little of her pain away. Tomorrow (Fri.) I will go with her to Chemo for her second time. Please keep up the prayers everyone, she needs them. Hope this helps everyone a little. She will post I'm sure as soon as she feels up to it.

hugs, Lilac

Christina was in the chat room the other night. She did not stay long but did talk a little of what she is going through. It was not nice hearing any of it. Not going into any details other then to say it sounds very painful and depressing. Hope the draining of the fluid will lessen some of the pain. Never going through chemotherapy, I have no idea what that feels like. But what others say it is no fun. I like so many others keep praying that the chemotherapy will attack the cancer and put it in remission if not outright kill it.

Christian does have one very good thing going for her and that is a most loving person that visits and is there for her. Lilac must make the days less painful when the two are together whither in person, on the phone or on the internet. That is one great support metrics they have.

Get Well Christian 👥👥

Thanks again everyone. What else can I say about Lilac except she is the sweetest best friend anyone could have.

I'm going to keep this short, I just got back about an hour ago from the hospital. The procedure they did is called a thorocentisis. Basically they stick a needle in the lung and drain fluid. It hurt a lot more this time because they didn't put me under general like last time for the biopsy. There was a good bit of pain, not really during it, but afterwards. It seems to be subsiding a little now, but I'm gonna crawl into bed for the rest of the day. Last time they removed a liter of fluid, this time it was a liter and a half.

Sorry for not posting much again, but it's been difficult for me and I hope to do more soon.

I had another round of chemotherapy today. I wasn't feeling too well went I went in this morning (from the procedure they did yesterday and just feeling lousy in general) but they gave me some anti-nausea medication and I'm feel better right now and able to get some food in me.

Next week I don't have to go to chemo, but I do have to go in for some blood tests and a consultation with the doctor. It seems that from being ill for so long they are having a hard time placing an IV in me. I used to have fairly good visible veins, but I guess from being sick a lot they have gotten harder to find. The doctor is going to talk to me about having a port surgically placed under my skin in my chest that will go into an artery. This would allow them to hook me up without have to try and find a vein each time I go in for treatment.

I have two possible solutions to finding a vein in Christina: (1) I'll send a friend of mine from the Infernal Revenue Service to go with her to the doctor next time. I hear the IRS can get blood out of a stone. (2) If that fails to work, I sent your name into the International Victims of Vampires telling them you need your blood drained. If a vampire biting nosferatu can't find a good vein, nobody can.

Christina,

Wishing you well.

It sounds that things are going faster as far as treatment is concerned, that very good. I am praying for your recovery.

You were such a nice person when we met at MOM East and we had a good time. Looking forward doing it again this Spring :)

Hope all of your days will get to a better Quality of Life you deserve.

Sincerely,

Tome
