Re: A Trip to Hospital
Paolo,
I am really happy that the surgery went well and I hope the recovery is equally speedy. In an effort to spare the hospital all of the collateral damage of divine retribution perhaps we can start a new "Get Well" thread and send a copy of it by some other nefarious means known only to the dark-side.

Hummm... Offensive? Is it my breath? Oh well....
Paolo wrote: Thu Oct 18, 2007 5:29 pm I just spoke with our beloved Kristoff, and he's up to having pudding now after successfully having all of the interior leaks patched. He's been up and about a few times, still in pain, still enjoying the drugs for pain, and fully returned to 100% cantankerousness! We had a lovely chat with others calling in often, too.
Unfortunately, the wi-fi at the hospital does not allow BME/EA as it is considered "offensive". The Nun is already bitching about THAT and threatening them with Divine retribution!
Any personal well wishes should be sent to archive@eunuch.org (where they will have to wait) or to me, so I can pass them on at once to the personal email address.
Thanks all, from Kristoff, and rest assured, he'll be back soon!

Kristoff
I just noticed this thread due to maternal preoccupation. I'm glad you were patched up efficiently and happier yet you are given g-o-o-d painkillers.
I've noticed that hospitals, libraries and many other public facilities don't allow their wifi guests to access chatrooms or message boards and that policy sucks rocks.
I pray you're back at home soon relaxing in front of the boob tube.
To cheer you up, we'll send you two videos:
Al Gore accepting the Nobel Prize for curing the environment and
Hillary taking oath of office for Goddess of D.C.
Get well soon but have no fear, the dark lord will handle all the fear till your return. In fact, I think I see him now about to insert his light saber in the posterior cavity of some unfortunate person.

I'm a bit late reading about this, but I am so glad to hear all went well and you are recovering well.
Best wishes for the future.

Re: A Trip to Hospital
Good Sister. Miracles do happen and Kirstoff should be home from the hospital within a few hours. This is DAYS earier than had been predicted with the seriousness of the surgery. He's in great spirits especially with the prospect of sleeping in his own bed and not having to eat hospital food.
Since the Eunuch Archive is judged by his hospital to be a "pornographic" site, he has not been able to log on during his stay there. We can expect him back sometime tonight for at least a brief check of all that has been happening.

Sounds like the operation was a success, so it's good to hear that, Krister, and take it easy untiil the healing process has run its course. No sawsall projects, and only very gentle rosaries.

Yes, standing up from the kneeler could be hard on the abdominal muscles. You might need the assistance of an altar boy or two.

Re: A Trip to Hospital
Hope being in your own bed again will help with your sprites. Do not know if your cooking will help any. Hope your recovery continues to improve every day.
