Back to Onan, we've written more about him here than was written in teh Bible, and no one really knows who he is or why that story appears. But this little tale has had such a far reaching effect down the eons and no one really knows what it was about. Because of it we have over 5,000 years later benighted people still passionately fighting and killing each other over abortion and women's choices. The Ctholic Church because of it bans birth control and as a result we have millions of starving people and we are overpopulating the earth with our species. It is amazing how something that no one udnerstands can be applied obsessively, rabidly and passionately for millenia jsut ebcause some priest somewhere in the Dark Ages decided it was an edict from his God.

I regret that to engage in a long discussion about homosexuality here would be too draining because you are really on the wrong track, A-1. You have a lot of strange thoughts about it and none of them have any basis in reality. To get into teh causes of homosexuality when no one really knows, and it is -- to my thinking -- a natural phenomenon with all the variations of hetero sex -- is a monumental effort.

With no aspersions on you, I think you should, if you are interested, research it yourself. If not, then don't. For someone like me who is at peace with himself after years of rejection and unfair treatment to dig it all up again is too uncomfortable. I am what I am, I was born on this planet and intend to live free on it; and when the Supreme Court finally came to its senses I felt a knot that had been in my stomach for 60 years relax. I don't feel like going back to that misery even to discuss it.

I stopped caring about what heteros think a long time ago.

I don't blame you...

You know, we all have our little idiosyncracies.

That should not get in the way of friendship, however.

And part of what you are saying I can relate to...I feel like a Bull in a china shop sometimes and I appreciate you folk putting up with me.

So maybe we should put this baby to bed and hope that she can get some rest.

and move on...

Krister, what do yo say?

I hope I have not offended you too much, either.

I mean, what is the use? Onan is dead, right?

Let me assure you there was no offense taken. It is obvious you never meant anything but some good talk. Like baseball and football, the best games are the ones that are hard to wint.

yeah for a guy who only got a few lines in the Bible, and no one has a clue who he is or what pissed the white haired guy off, Onan sure has made a mess of things for most of us here over 5,000 years later and received a lot more talk than he is worth. Wish I could influence folks like that. And charge money for it.

But maybe if I ask you here, Paolo, if you got my pm about how to delete all my attachments so i can post new ones, you'll answer it? Seems we all care about Onan, but no one gives a crapola about poor ole yankee masha

I'm not nearlyas old as he is.

YM,

I don't know. I went into the controls, which aren't very user friendly as of yet because they MOVED everything on me...and I can't find a thing about YOUR attachements, or anyone else's for that matter.

B and I are still working on it.🎶
