Re: Why did poor Onan have to die?

Back to Onan, we've written more about him here than was written in teh Bible, and no one really knows who he is or why that story appears. But this little tale has had such a far reaching effect down the eons and no one really knows what it was about. Because of it we have over 5,000 years later benighted people still passionately fighting and killing each other over abortion and women's choices. The Ctholic Church because of it bans birth control and as a result we have millions of starving people and we are overpopulating the earth with our species. It is amazing how something that no one udnerstands can be applied obsessively, rabidly and passionately for millenia jsut ebcause some priest somewhere in the Dark Ages decided it was an edict from his God.
I regret that to engage in a long discussion about homosexuality here would be too draining because you are really on the wrong track, A-1. You have a lot of strange thoughts about it and none of them have any basis in reality. To get into teh causes of homosexuality when no one really knows, and it is -- to my thinking -- a natural phenomenon with all the variations of hetero sex -- is a monumental effort.
With no aspersions on you, I think you should, if you are interested, research it yourself. If not, then don't. For someone like me who is at peace with himself after years of rejection and unfair treatment to dig it all up again is too uncomfortable. I am what I am, I was born on this planet and intend to live free on it; and when the Supreme Court finally came to its senses I felt a knot that had been in my stomach for 60 years relax. I don't feel like going back to that misery even to discuss it.
I stopped caring about what heteros think a long time ago.
