Did you get the nullification surgery? If so, how well did it turn out? I heard that 50 percent of patients who go nullo lose control of their bladders. It sounded like B.S. but I wasn't sure? I've just started on the process going for my orchiectomy done in the next two months, and a scrotectomy a few months afterward. I like the idea of going nullo eventually with the new version of the surgery that preserves ones ability to still orgasm.

Then, after healing of a wound I had a serious problem with urination.

I was helped to cope with this through a second surgical operation.

The ability to test an orgasm in general then did not concern me.

I'd say what you've heard is incredibly wrong. There is nothing inside the external portion of the penis structure which controls urination other than the urethra narrowing at the end of the penis. Those structures, from the urethral tissue forward of the prostate and back to the bladder are retained. That's where the bladder and urinary control are located in the anatomy. Now deep diving to take the penis out by the root could be problematic if it's not done carefully, but still, I've not read reports of anyone who has gone from intact to nullo having lost control unless they trained themselves to do so out of some urinary fetish.

I’ve still got a catheter in, but am using a tap most of the time. Everything seems fine. Nothing was said about risk of incontinence and pretty much every nullo I’ve spoken to hasn’t had a problem. My spinchter is well behind where it was cut off. If it was a real risk, I somehow doubt the surgery would be popular at all. I’m doing okay. The Doctors actually told me off for not moving enough - for week 2. I need to move 15 minutes every hour. Then back to light duties in week 3.

Many accounts of eunuchs in history mention urinary incontinence as a side effect, coming from the notion of the urethral opening being plugged for "x" number of days before being reopened. Yes, that’s the version I’ve had done. For now, it’s still healing but looking forward to trying it out. One problem I’ve encountered whilst healing is that the muscles still contract when horny, or during night time “erections”, which at the moment bloody hurts - and wakes me up if sleeping. One of the healing side effects I didn’t expect. I’m not taking T at the moment either, that’s my body’s base line testosterone doing that.

Ahhh that’s a relief to hear that it’s temporary Healing is going okay, am 2 weeks in now. The catheter comes out in a week and I really cannot wait. I’m going stir crazy being at home, but the doctor says I can move about a bit more now and return to the office (and general life) the week after the catheter comes out. Really looking forward to that.

For some time (very dosed under the supervision of a doctor!) I was given sedatives.
