Well someone here sent me a copy, and I am very impressed, looks like the changes will make it VERY much easier to get fixed through medically supported channels. I put a few thought of what I saw as big improvements in my blog, and tomorrow I get to see if the folks at the TG center are willing to follow them. Good work to all the EA folks that contributed to the changes.... My overall take is that if these standards are followed it should put a big dent in the need for cutters and other DIY methods.

A little birdie just told me SOC 8 will be published the week of Sep 4, 2022, electronically in the The International Journal of Transgender Health. That's the plan, if it happens, we'll see. But it looks like the new standards are finally here... Next week.
