No idea about Sean, I know I have it turned off in mine (which I do in most of the forums I'm on just to reduce mailbox clutter - in the case of EA, it also potentially helps avoid accidental outing to shoulder surfers...)
At any rate, I did just try sending him a PM - Will that go to his e-mail as well?

All users, I believe, are notified by email if they have a new PM.

I only get a notification when i log onto the site, so he may not, depending on his settings.

The default is to send an email. At registration one can elect not to receive an email. Very few people turn off the default.

I don't - just a pop up when I log on, or if I'm already on... It's one of the options in the profile and I turned it off...
