So much would depend on that culture s idea of what is normal or abnormal and desirable or undesirable. In cultures where circumcision is common and accepted, whether fathers or sons are circumcised or not is accepted as normal either way. But if being cut or uncut was considered a huge deal, then a son might be overly concerned about whether his father was cut or uncut if everyone around him made a giant issue of it. This would be true of his own cut or uncut penis too.
