It should be interesting Yoda, the lasy 24 hours and both sides are getting quite painful as they are drawn up more, I think there is a contraction from the upper cord against the hardened tissue that is causing the pain. I am not sure how long the results will take to get to my doctor, but I will try and interrogate the radiologist as much as I can, they are not always very forthcoming. Wtach this space!

In Canada it takes 5 working days or less. I thought by this time you should know how long it takes since it is not your first time.

Waiting for your results!

In Australia, they would be available the next day.

Not to boast, but here in South Africa I got my results a half hour after the ultrasound. The technician even gave me an interactive cd containing all the scans to view at home.

The last time I did an ultrasound scan (9 December) was when I had all my organs scanned as a precursor for the gastric bypass surgery. I got the results on cd straight after payment at the reception desk.

Which clinic did you attend for your scans.

Generally here in Aus, the scans have to be reviewed by a qualified radiologist and he/she has to write up a report on the scans before release to the patient. This generally takes about 2 to 3 hours and if you elect to have the scans sent on to your doc, they will be available at his rooms the next day.

Had the scan today. I am afraid my doctor will not get the results for at least week, which really means the new year!

I did not elicit much from him other than there was a lot of trauma caused by infection and or inflammation.

I go to Vincent Pallotti Hospital here in Cape Town. The technician did the scans and went over to the radiologist while I waited in the scan room laying on the bed. She came back and told me I can get the results on cd at the reception. True as bob!

I truly hope the uro will find reason to remove your testicles. Seeing that you enjoy the destruction so much, what is next...your penis?:)

Hi Yoda, I did amazingly get some information today. it talks of calcification and heterogeneous worsening since previous scans and a reduction in size and thickening of the epididymus and cords. For the rest I have to wait to see a uro.....

As for the penis...yes. I have plans for this once I am over the orchie, However, I am not going to talk about that here as I think my idea is a complete pioneer journey and I don't want to encourage anyone to follow me.

I am more or less decided on what I will do.
