I'd love nothing more than to have SRS and have a vagina, but still remain a man. I'm actually going to see a gender therapist next week and plan to mention this, maybe after a bit of therapy I'll be able to get a couple letters. If I'm fortunate, maybe find a surgeon willing to bypass the real life test as long as I have letters. I'm sure exceptions have been made in the past.

Being a nullo now since just over 1 year. I cannot see myself with a vagina. I still consider myself a man, however instead of genitals I have a reroute, and a smooth look.
While some vaginas look nice, what I really like is a slim woman where you just see a slit and everything is hidden. Big pussy lips I do not like....But that is my opinion.

Those of you interested in this subject might be interested going to Dr. Anne Lawrence's website
http://www.annelawrence.com and read about autogynephilia. I thought my unusual persona was unknown until I started to get a grasp of these theories. They are very controversial in the transgender community but it certainly explained an awful lot of what I am dealing with. My therapist was the one who initially mentioned it to me.

Wonder if there is any writing for autovulvaphilia or autovaginalphilia?
These would be a man aroused at the thought of having a vulva/vagina while otherwise remaining male (autogynephilia is being aroused at the thought of actually being a woman all around, not just between the legs).

I totally identify with this thread. I've never wanted to loose my genitals and not be able to experience genital stimulation but for as long as I can remember I've wanted to vagina while remaining male. I've struggled with this for a lot of years, thinking I must be transgender but not feeling that was right. I'm gay and I identify as male, but being penetrated just feels right. At times I almost feel the cunt between my legs needing to be filled. I've dated a number of trans-guys, furry butch (and often adorably short) gay boys with a wet, hungry cunt between their legs, and I know that's for me-- being a man with a whole for my pleasure and for my partner's pleasure.
I've looked into surgical options for SRS or GRS or whatever the politically correct term is but they all require proof of gender dysphoria. I'm familiar with Joe Mangina man and have tried contacting him (with no response) to see if he knows a route to inversion-surgery that doesn't require proof of being trans (can a BIID diagnosis merit surgery). But from what you guys said and a closer reading of his FAQ it sounds like he conned the system. Any further information about he availability of penile inversion surgery for men would be really appreciated. I also found a yahoo message board through themanginaman.com that's about inversion surgery for men and the latest news.

Autogynophelia has totally been discredited.

I beg to differ. Transgenders who disagree quickly say it has been discredited. I believe the trans community believes that the only true path is if you have been trapped in the wrong body. If on the other hand an individual believes not so much as a feeling of being trapped but has a very serious need to alter his body and possibly gender, well that is not acceptable. I think one of the biggest issue in regard to the theory of autogynophelia is that it basically applies to heterosexual males. This a topic which is toxic because it can not at this time be proven right or wrong. If you can get a copy of Anne Lawerence's "Men Trapped in Men's Bodies" you can either identify with autogynophelia or not. There is obviously many transgender heterosexual men who do get a better understanding of themselves after reading her book.
