Thanks for a very interesting post here MajicDan.
You have gone thru a life cycle that makes a lot of sense for a lot of men to follow and learn from. In your case you got your vasectomy done really young at age 20, so I m guessing you never had any kids and chose to be a non breeder by choice as a young man. Lots of men are freely chosing not to breed any kids. You just decided at a younger age than most men do. I wanted to be kid free for life as a teen. I was too young to get a vasectomy and I couldn t wait to turn 18 and get my vasectomy as soon as I could. In the meantime, I read everything I could about birth control and vasectomies and castration. I started reading about some men getting chronic pain from vasectomies and having different ball problems like low T and atrophy years after their vasectomies from sperm build up damage and immune system responses attacking their pent up sperm and attacking their testicles after the responses triggered to dissolve all that daily sperm production. Some people described vasectomies as slow castrations for some men. That made me hold off on getting a vasectomy since I enjoy the intense pleasures of having balls, even if I don t want or need the sperm production of balls.
Sorry to hear about your very llong term and chronic testicle pains and your later prostate cancer. Your balls got a double reason to be castrated with that chronic pain and later prostate cancer after your castration.
Your prostate cancer showing up after your castration proves that castration later in life and even your slow testicle damage and atrophy from 30 years of vasectomy did not prevent prostate cancer later. Too many men think castration will make prostate cancer impossible. You prove that is false. Geldings can still get prostate cancer after their balls are cut off, like you did.
Getting the prostate cancer made it necessary to end your testosterone completely. Its so great you are handling that so well and the side affects on your body of no T at all. You set a good example for us younger men to follow as we age and face similar male problems with our bodies and manhoods.
At 20 years old you willingly got sterilized. Years later, you willingly got castrated. Then years later stopped getting all T in your body. And you ve handled it all so well ! You could never imagine doing all that when you were 20 years old. But now, at those later ages, you did it all and handled it all. That s great !
I think all boys and younger men should hear from older men like you over their lives to learn more about how men age and what happens to our male sex organs and bodies as we age. It helps makes of all ages think about and prepare for their own lives and body changes.
Thanks for posting your experiences for other men to learn from and setting a great example for us men to follow when its our turn to get sterilized, castrated, and no T and no more sex some day !
But kids or no kids lots of men, 1 out of every 6 men, decide to get vasectomies at some point in their lives.
