Just so. Add in the planned movement of M$ from the Desktop concept, and that is how it is.
The virtualization thing is worth a thought. Easy enough to do on good fast PC hardware, and it still allows running of your favorite Win, Android, Lin, even simultaneously. Very cool, not difficult and very flexible into the future. When that pinnacle of engineering now supporting these OSs ages, to the status of decrepit old junk, the new hardware virtualization will look as much like the old as I want. I can even experiment with "hardware" I don't own. Seems a good recipe for continuity. While it is possible to run virtual servers in the cloud, I still like to hear the purr from the box under the desk!
