As for moi, I do have a picture in my head of what he looks like and sounds like, god I hope I am wrong.
As for Punkypink, I hear a very soft voice, quite type, I am wrong on this one to I bet.

What, you mean that Jesus' avatar isn't an accurate picture of him? I'm crushed.
Transward
I find it funny to imagine the voices, although he could not imagine the avatars that are not photos, I can imagine a character, but not the voice.
I chose an avatar of a shinobi because I have a dark side that I hide (and being of Japanese descent), but I imagine each image as a personality within each one.
I hope I have not offended anyone, but since I live in Brazil and my English is not so good, I use google translator.
I hope that everyone understands that some sentences are normal for us Brazilians can become a personal offense to another country. It is not my intention, but if I did, I'm sorry.

Moi's pitch and speech rhythm is Long Island, N.Y. Faster the Californian.
Moi's pronunciation is California and I worked on it.
In speech I try to zero in on the best word for the meaning and not more words. Just so natural for me.
Weirds people out. My friend's mother asked him about it, he reportedly said, "don't worry about it mom, he speaks like that to everyone.". We are still close for decades. (see below)
Does anyone like the sound of their voice when they hear it recorded? I know I don't and commonly people do not like the sound of their own voice on recording.
I am about 6' accounting for shrinkage, 153 lbs - thin by nature not a lack of nurture. Full beard trimmed close and full thick MOT hair needing shearing.
Moi
Impressed by the wonderment of so many members about Moi's voice.
If you really care, give me a reputation tag. I will know who you are
from (see below) at end of first para - spooky stuff
Some decades ago, after I was already adopted into the family, Father had a massive heart attack. My friend who is a doctor left his heritage Sierra Nevada ranch and with his 3 sisters flew to see father in the hospital. His Las Vegas vacation interrupted by the elephant on the chest.
I spoke with mother about how I felt bad because I knew the heart attack was bad but, I was not worried. I said, "I feel like in ten years he is going to tell some new doctor, oh ten years ago I had a massive heart attack". She called me on the Tenth Anniversary! And that was over a decade ago.
<so old. so old>

I think the reason we don't like our own voice recording is because when we hear it, in addition to hearing the voice as carried by the vibrations in the air, we're also hearing it via vibrations carried through our bones(the skull). When we hear a recording we only hear it as carried by aerial vibrations and it sounds different to what we're used to.

Everyone tries to sketch other when talking to or reading their reviews. But it is not taken very seriously.

I like to imagine others as characters from the Law & Order or Desperate Housewives tv seriesez -- whether on the internet or in person. I happen to know for a fact that Paolo looks identical to BD Wong, and Jesus always to brings mind Mrs. McKluskey. (I suppose characters from Master and Margarita would be more fitting for all involved on here, somehow.)
