I do not see how anyone could stand to live with him. Does Sheldon pay all the rent and do all the housework? Is Sheldon blackmailing Leonard into not leaving?

Inexplicably contrived conflict: the bread and butter of the sitcom.

There is no best show, now.

Just excuses

Too much CSI's that I'm afraid someone will use as a "how to" manual.

Anyone remember "the event" when the last episode of David Jansen, "The Fugitive" aired?

"Lost" was satisfying at the end but, nothing has replaced it. And Anna and her V's are no more. History channel has gone to histrionics.

200 Channels and nothing on.

Oops "the Noose" repeat on Apocalypse: The Second World War, Smithsonian Channel is on, gotta go. :D

I liked THE WALKING DEAD and plan to watch the second season.

I also caught the first episode of SHERLOCK HOLMES on PBS is set in modern times and it's good.

I watched the first three (90-minute) episodes of Sherlock months ago. It was VERY good. I have not seen the next three episodes in my TV listings. I just did a search on zap2it.com and did not see Sherlock listed.

In the first episode, Sherlock meets Dr. John Watson for the first time. Was that the first episode you saw?

My personal favorite is "The closer".

And "Rescue Me" is sort of like watching a train wreck.

TV, usually I feel so insulted with the adds that before I get to far into anything I have turned the damn thing off. I mean I don't need to hear how an enema will help my colon health or what is the latest drug that I just must have but I should tell my doctor all the meds I take, (you would have thought he would already know) and tell him this new designer drug now cures everything however has a couple side effects like it could ruin your liver, cause you to have a heart attack, even cause death but you gotta have it. I don't need to know about how the latest and greatest tampon is or how in the past only men have designed bras. I just don't care, its about the second round of this kind of shit on the TV that makes me decide the best use of my time is to read a book.

Too hard to pick just a pair! My favourites of all time are probably The X-Files, Veronica Mars and Inspector Morse (plus its follow on Lewis). Strangely (or not) they all involve characters that investigate; though the tone of each show is quite different.
