Sorry to hear it doesn't work that well for you, as it is by far the least expensive option.

i am taking nebido1000 every 3 months. the injection is € 137,00..... it works very well for me. not really high at the beginning and i do not notice any loss at the end of 12-13 weeks..... (i am in Germany, and the social insurance covers the costs). as mentioned the injection is € 137,00 and the doctor invoices € 5,36 for injecting.

I've tried everything except Nibido (not available in USA). Patches were the least effective, and yes expensive. Gel, seems to work, but for me I convert more to DHT with the gel, which is also quite expensive. So, I'm on injections, even though I had the same initial issues you are reporting.
The solution for me was smaller doses every week. I take 150 mg, IM every week, and the peaks and valleys are no where near as dramatic.

Nibido is available in US. But sold under name Aveed with slight different dosing instructions then Europe.

I have been on Axiron for over 4 years now, was on it for about 6 months before I was castrated. Unfortunately this has now been withdrawn from the market in Australia, which irritates me as it worked really well for me. Axiron is a measured liquid which is applied to the armpit after a shower on a daily basis. I was lucky to be able to obtain a year's supply before it was withdrawn, which gives me time to investigate alternative options. Will probably go with a gel, but will speak to my pharmacist before I go to my doc.

Seems that when on T, I find T cypionate injection 100mg a week or 200mg every two weeks does fine, and keeps T levels about normal.
Does everything work on T? Not a lot of difference from before losing the nuts, so yest it's effective.
(I also do well on no T, but need to be mindful of the transition period when the T is getting very low. There is a time of 1 - 2 weeks when I feels lazy but I don't think depressed, and then the relaxed and more sociable state sets in. It feels good and I don't care that there are no erections at all.)
I make sure that the doc checks me out regularly, but so far I'm well. He thinks the TRT is about right for me, but also respects going without, with care.
