MrT, I could not agree with you more, I usually have the radio on all day but come stupid season it goes off, I don't care if Santa's Coming or Cumming, I don't have a star that I watch, and I don't sing to a drum, I could care less how many f....en gold rings some sadistic ass hole sends his love. I have a winter wonderland, all I need to do is look out the window, I don't need to sing about some fat ass snow man who all of a sudden knows how to sing and dance and marring people, I do want a SILENT NIGHT, and need and want it so I leave the damn radio OFF.
TV also goes down hill this time of year, somehow they think we all have a need to watch Christmas shows every night for a month and don't forget that every single channel including PBS, all of them will play "Its a wonderful fucken life" at least twice, just in case you missed it the first time they showed it at a more convenient time. NOT only that but even shows that has nothing to do with Christmas will have some kind of show to show you just how, far,, they can put there heads up there ass.....
Then last of all there is the news where on the 24th some guy with a straight face will talk about some stupid fat man in a red outfit crossing the sky.
I think I am going to SCREAM.
The best part of this time of year is New Years Day, its over for at least 10 months or so, and there is a couple days break before every fucken thing you see has a red hart on it.
OH GOOD GRIEF

Forgive me if I've said this before, but it bears repeating.
I have a dream of remaking "It's A Wonderful Life" one day. In my version, everyone turns out to be happier without the guy, so at the end of the movie the angel pushes him off the bridge. Either that or everyone around him is proven to be completely selfish and self-obsessed and his absence means they're getting their just desserts, causing him to jump. Once that proves to be a success, I would be glad to also remake other Christmas classics.
Frosty the Snowman in the time of Global Warming.
The purges of the Land of Misfit Toys
Rudolph Goes Postal
You know, Christmas movies for those of us who are sick and tired of Christmas movies.

Does anyone ever notice that in It's a Wonderful Life, George is a real jerk? He yells and screams at people all through the movie. The best Christmas movie is a real old one The Bishops Wife with Loretta Young and Cary Grant. They remade it as The Preacher's Wife with Densel Washington and it lost all of the magic.
