a written record is also legally admissible in court provided you keep it updated and don't miss any time periods. A written record with date and time of contact is your best bet. In essences the more documented paper work you have the better your position and this apples in any situation were the law might come into play. Also, have your friends and family write down events like when he came to your fathers door....the sooner your father writes it down the better. Why? because people lose details over time and a written document is more admissible in court then a verbal conversion.

Well... I think it'll all blow over... *fingers crossed..*

He got the email today and sent me a really offensive text message:

"Get over yourself you snobby pig, your dmv report is public information for the most part. And by the way, I don't think I could have slept with you after you tld me you slept with negros. No woman with any self respect would do that. Disgusting!"

I would much rather he had called me names or threatened me... I don't discriminate. Racism disgusts me. I've dated men ((and women..)) of all shapes, sizes, colors and lifestyles.. I'm really upset by what he said..

Well, I sent a text back that said If you contact me again I will file harrassment charges. You have been warned.

Haven't heard back from him.

So I think it'll just blow over.

I also like kennath7's idea of having getting a stun gun. Especially if it is legal to have one in your area. I know you can't take it into work with you, but you could leave it in your glove box or under the driver seat within easy reach. Besides it never hurts to carry a little extra protection. Also a stun gun may be a better choice than a knife since a good one will knock an attacker down if you can make contact anywhere on their body like an arm or leg... or even a third leg

Isin't it great that law abiding woman can bring a stun gun to work but a pyscho who works at the post office can (and will) bring a tommy gun to work and mow down everyone because the voices in his head said to? SHEESH!

Mace (If still available is good) We got faces fulls of that at a rock concert once. I think that would stop anyone dead in their tracks.

BTW I just watched the DVD of "Repo Man" Very twisted but funny. I enjoy the scene where one of the Repo men is shot at and his buddy returns fire into the house. The first Repo man says "You can't shoot into peoples houses!" and the second one asnwers "sure I can - Its only blanks..."

Point well taken, OTOH Daughter works in an environment that is a lot more secure than the post office. So unless security goes postal everything should be cool.

I also liked the movie Repo Man. If I thought I could have a flying car I might go into the business. On second thought, I guess I wouldn't. I'd hate to have a job where the clients shoot at me

Follow the advice of everyone here and follow your gut. This guy is BAD FUCKING NEWS.

End this thing immediately and forcefully. Be F I R M and don't let him piss & moan. Keep it short & to the point and then hang up and block his number and accept absolutely no communication from him at all.

Ok. So maybe a little creepy that he's tracked my flight?

Well having never before gotten flowers from anyone, ever in my life... ((Ok well my brother brought me a plant once for my birthday but it was half dead and he's my brother so I don't think that counts.)) I was pleasantly surprised to come home to a dozen pink roses. So I call him to thank him.

Now during the past few days we'd made plans to go out again tonight. Knowing I'm a professional quality chef, he was very interested in having me cook us dinner. So the plan was to go repo some more cars, go to the grocery store then back to his place to cook dinner and watch a movie. Well when I called to thank him for the flowers, he starts in on this thing about well if it gets to be too late, would it be okay for me to go home in the morning. He said that he would sleep on the couch and I could have his bed. Well this made me a little uncomfortable, but I figured I'd be armed to the teeth anyway, so I guess it'd be ok.. (((Yeah I carry knives in my bra, one in my boot and a can of mace in my pocket.. Among other things, which I won't share 'cuz a lady never reveals ALL her secrets...!)))

So anywho... Back on track... I called him to thank him for the beautiful flowers and we confirm our plans for tonight.. And then he tells me that he got curious about me and RAN MY NAME AT THE DMV. Had a full copy of my driving record. Listed off for me my full name, previous addresses and the dates of every speeding ticket I've ever had.

Completely freaked out at this point.

I had my Dad call him and tell him that I'm in the bathroom vomiting profusely and won't be going anywhere tonight. I figure that'll give me some time to figure out what to do next.

So here's my question: Is this guy freaking psychotic? Am I completely justified in being creeped out?

My instinct is to tell the guy to get lost.

Why have I not noticed this?

Daughter, I do not care if this FREAKAZOID sells pencils from a cup. He is BAD NEWS and this type is capable of killing people.

I say this because,

1. He wants to control YOU.

2. He dredges up past decisions and relationships in your life and critiques you for your making them. (This allows him to build disrespect for you that in his demented mind can justify his hurting you...OR WORSE if you reject him.)

3. He is STAKLING YOU. (BTW,...this IS a criminal act.)

4. He is telling you that he is doing these things. (It is one thing to STALK you, and it is psychological ABUSE to tell you that he has done them.)

5. NO kidding, if you fall asleep in his bed you WILL NOT be safe.

6. EXPECT a date rape drug if he prepares your food or drink.

7. AVOID him, and have a RESTRAINING order placed against him.

8. Regarding this relationship you have told us NOTHING about this guys past, and it is probably because he has not told you anything about it. Could he be hiding something from you?

I may be paranoid, (a little paranoia goes a long way) but I think that you have indicated that he has an OBSESSION with you. This is at least UNHEALTHY, may even be deadly, and you need this guy like you need bacterial menningitis.

DUMP HIM!

P.S. If he has your SS# and personal information, and I am sure that he does, GET SOME PROTECTION AGAINST IDENTITY THEFT NOW!

My wife and I sleep with dogs. Wonder what he'd say to that? We don't include them in our sex sessions, though.

(Not one but TWO pit bulls to be exact.) So, maybe this MUTHERFUCKER is SCARED of BLACK MEN. BTW, we would NOT consider sleeping with pok-a-dot men, either.

Well I haven't heard from him at all. Since I told him I would file harrassment charges if he contacted me again, not even a single text message or email or anything. I got a little nervous watching the news earlier about a woman who was shot by her jealous exboyfriend who then shot himself... But I don't think he's quite that psychotic. I'm pretty sure he's done and won't bother me again.

On the topic of date rape drugs... I'm 90% convinced of it. The first ((and only)) time we went out, he had told me a story about being in So Cal, about 45mins from Mexico, and someone slipped a roofie into his drink and stole everything he had on him. Shortly after he'd found out that being so close to the border that drug is incredibly cheap and easy to find because they make just over the border. ((That's what he told me anyway..)) But I remember thinking it was a bit odd that he would tell me that story, and now I think I understand. I'm almost positive he would have been more than happy to slip something in my drink if I had gone to his house to make dinner that night. Especially with the "you can sleep in my bed, I'll take the couch and behave" talk.. Well if I'm drugged, I wouldn't know where he was sleeping -- or NOT sleeping... And if he were able to talk me into staying the night, my friends/family wouldn't find it odd if I didn't come home.

I hate racists. Personally, I don't care what color you are. If you're ghetto or stupid I won't talk to you. But ghetto and stupid both come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

Let's hope this guy has moved on and is now stalking someone else (what an ugly thought).

You do need to keep your guard up and be alert for anything unusual. The more time that passes with no further incidents, the better.
