Pick a cane that suits your personality. May I suggest something gray and knotty? I have several canes, an adjustable metal one for everyday, an oak one with my name and a picture of the Delta Queen burned onto it, a home made one carved like a dragon, and one made from a bull penis. --FLO--

My luck I would be walking with a cane made from a bull's penis and I would fall over when it lost interest.

Since my psiatic nerve pain is "still" with me in my right leg, I made a decision today to lessen my walking.

I ordered my groceries online today and they will be delivered tomorrow afternoon :)

Please do not reduce your activity too much. Sadly reduced activity creates problems of it's own. One of the first problem with reduced movement is constipation. I was trained to administer 3 H enemas. High, hot and hell of a lot. Keep moving.

My nerve and circulation problems have always worsened when I stop being active. In particular I feel it more when I do not walk. KEEP MOVING!! --FLO--

I still walk to get a burger 2-3 times a week and to just get a few grocery items, I'll bus down to my old barrio grocery which takes two blocks of walking each way.

I left chat early tonight due to indigestion. I went to lie down and the pain got worse. I walked over to the ER. THey gave me two pain shots, an Rx for Norcos and said I had a gall stone causing problems.
