Here off the mid coast of "The O.C." we have only had about two weeks of Summer and now the smell of Autumn is in the air.
E-Friend up on the Oregon coast feels same.
Anyone feel an early Autumn coming on?
Moi
Possible Indian Summer coming but, I don't feel so.

Just California mellow here by the coast.
Not below 65. Not above 76. Sunset near 7:30PM
Fuji apples are ripening 2 months early.
Has anyone had a good peach lately.
With fuzz, sweet, acidy and juices that drip out of your mouth.
Some miles inland land they say there will be record heat
hotter than the searing Midwest. Because of low humidity less hazardous.
My passion fruit cactus is having a heyday of growth, flowering but no fruit.
It did deliver a good fruit about 3 years ago.

All 3 cats in "hyper sleep" lately.

Nastiest weather of the year.
The mellow Summer has been influenced by monsoon atmosphere from Southern Arizona.
Pushes temperatures up a few but, the "feels like" adds 5 degrees. Very Not Usual.
No change in forecast for a week.
Anyone getting Dorianed?
Got a Dragon fruit a few days ago and ripe, Peter's Honey Figs.
Fuji apples reddened but, not sweet. The pecans continue to get bigger.
3 cats sleep.

No charge this time for sharing a bit of our glorious monsoon weather. Hope it included the Caribbean pastel blue skies with towering cumulus clouds.

No clouds.
Just muggy air.
Even if there is a wind.

Little bit of rain last night about 9, but a stunning in-clouds lightning display that lit everything up for half an hour before moving on.

In Charleston today. It's beautiful and calm. Local TV full of evacuation directions, they think they are heading for severe flooding.

Western PA and the weather is likewise beautiful and calm and seasonal.
I go outside and watch the peace and quiet of the countryside.
