If you can stand it, try your big toe
I used to just plain use my arm
Doc wants me to start testing again. We'll see.

One definite advantage of my new apartment occurred today: it's pouring down rain and my roof isn't leaking. In my old house, I had two holes in my roof; one in the kitchen and the other right over my bedroom. I'm dry as a bone here. Woo hoo.

I went to the ER tonight due to three days of stomach pains. I figured it was pancreatitus (which I have had twice before) but the nurses said probably not. THey took my blood and ran a CT scan. I received one pain pill and a pain injection. AS of tonight, I am pain free

So, go back to the ER and get insistent on having a doctor (not a nurse) examine you.

It is almost impossible to get a pain medication prescription here. One has to have a serious problem. .... With Acu Check one can take blood sample from upper leg, much less painful than using fingers.

Pain is less today and I have regained my appetite.
