I have visited "snow". And I lived in "snow" country, although Milwaukee had the "good" side of the Lake effect.

Aesthetically I like ice storms the morning after, and that late Spring snow - so white and puffy.

Having lived in it, I know it loses a lot of joy, no matter how pretty - in the second week of April.

Will the next weather system be a carbon copy, just moving the storm track north a bit,

or will Spring yet be? Guesses?

East of Paradise that is. ;)

You wouldn't want a Flood Watcher at the lowest flood plain, would you? 🙄

No one has to guess. It's called THE SEASONS

(No, not parsley sage romsemary and thyme they're THE SEASONINGS)...

It's that big gaseous thing that rises in the sky every morning (oh what I could do with that line but I'll be good!) is not just your hangover (sorry, that slipped out) It's the SUN and the HEAT of the SUN and it will move the hot air masses north. (another chance, resist, resist, resist...)

It's been so long since we've seen it here.

In a normal winter (we have not had one from what I understand in years) you get snow, it melts, you get snow again and it melts again, and this cycle continues until March or so when the sun finally melts it all and life is good. What has happened this year is what little sun we have had melts the snow a little then it freezes again at night and the process continues day after day. When winter finally gives it up this year all the snow will melt at the same time, look for flooding and not just Kristoff's garage Iowa might not be seen again until Aug or Sept.

I guess except for Southern Hemisphere members

:dong: NO Not those members

I guess except for Southern Hemisphere members, our EA Blizzard Season is half a year away.

And River will not be part of it in the first person.

Perhaps we can experience his empathy from Hawai'iland then; as you blizzarded folks experience mine.

Japan got slammed again.

https://www.google.com/search?q=japan+s ... 0.0.0.0.91. 443.5.5.0...0.0...1c.1.11.img.xN81xnSXQ_g&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.45645796,d.cGE&fp=ca52c1bb4f08c088&biw=1067&bih=505

Some really stunning pictures of their current snow situation.

Any EA participants ;) effected?

I admire volcano eruptions too, as long as I am not in the vicinity.

NBC News shows another blizzard across the middle, from the Rockies to the Midwest.

And it is May !

Anyone still surrounded by solidified water?

And here I thought, domestically, this thread was going to hibernate for 6-7 months.
