The pharmacist ran a test on my meter and said it was accurate. I drink only DietCokes. The reason my blood sugar was 256 that one day was because I foolishly visited Sees' Candy store and inhaled eight pieces. I know,. I know.

Carrots are a first cousin to the sugar beet.. Try diagonally cut carrots dipped in chocolate.

Good job! Managed to get my A1C down to 5.8, but bad cholestrol is too high. You getting blood tests at all so you know what's going on?

Yes, my Doc set me up for a series of blood tests, a stool exam, and a visit to an optomalogist. She also said my BP was a bit elevated.
