And not a special wildflower year, Moi. I don't know why. Just the usual pretty yellow that signifies miserable allergy days.

@Arab Nights.

Surprised.

I thought this would be a great wildflower year for you

high desert people as it was for California.

Last rain reported was a half inch.

Rain this morning.

Measurement pending.

The News keeps having stories of weather DOOM events

from Colorado to Minnesota to all parts of the nation east.

Yet there is nothing mentioned this thread of such events.

Some like @Dave of Pittsburgh can be so stingy about such sharing. ;)

Do dandilions in the yard count?

Spitting rain this morning. Mixed rain and snow tomorrow.

Got 3/8th of an inch earlier today.

With the half inch a few days before,

that's 7/8" total between the two.

Pretty good for May.

Dandelions count if you usually don't get them

or they are so much more glorious this year.

Try them in salad. ;)

Weather starting to get warmer, windy and low 20's. Semi shiny and cloudy.

Either way got my sunscreens ready.

Wish I had a pair of smith optics "freespool mag" or "highwaters" that cover the peripheral vision and look

Sporty.

Too busy collecting Bitcoin ,satoshis, but these sunglasses are on my get list.

Record lowest high ever. Not by a degree or two, but by 10 degrees. Another storm due over weekend.

It's been nice and spring-like and not rainy the past four days.

Sunday and Monday were cool and sunny.

Tuesday temperatures went to 80F

Today, another clear day with temperatures at 79/80F all around.

And FYI -

To model weather like "The FArmer's Almanac" or the Farm Bureaus (Extension services for crop rotation), two temperatures have to be recorded each day - - the daytime high and the nighttime low. Weather forecasting or modeling isn't done with one average. It requires two.

After a cool and dank start to the day, the temperature shot up to 83F with a heat index of 85 when the sun came out. Everyone was surprised. I ended up with a very mild case of heat exhaustion from too much yard work. First really hot day of the year here, and overdid it.

Interstate thru Flagstaff, AZ closed in one direction by crash in snow-covered conditions. That is what you get with record lowest high temps.
