So sorry for you. That is a tiny part of humanity that is everywhere. So are wonderful people, which fill New Zealand.

Arab Nights (imported) wrote: Fri Mar 15, 2019 2:16 am Light snow this morning. Cleared and cold wind in the afternoon. Saw the first little cockroach scurrying across the tile, so summer must be on the way.

Any Wildflowers yet?

Green landscapes rarely seen.

Here just 55 - 74 with dry air, bright cloudless skies and snow in the

distance on the mountains.

The hills greened very quickly while the trees barely are greening.

Not wildflower country unless an isolated specimen or mustard counts.

It don't

Took a drive yesterday to the Verde Valley (Jerome, Sedona, etc). A summer sky, not winter. Beautiful blue sky with lots of puffy cumulus clouds and a cell off to the east with dark blue bottom (rain) and whispy tops reaching up and up.

It's been sunny and 50F here, but with wind. The wind feels like it's right off a glacier.

Extended "moderate" weather

with a brief warm up.

The Loquats are about all ripened and the

Apricot tree blossoms are finishing.

Relocated 2 squirrels.

Anyone got some of that 40F drop in temperature I read about?

Snow?

Hail?

Freezing Rain?

Flood?

How about wildflowers ?

@UncleFlo how's y'river?

We had ~55 and sun, then it fell to 35 and we got an unexpected inch of heavy, wet snow. It was gone in a few hours, though. It was only 40 today, sunny, but windy and just miserable.

Took a jacket with my for a quick trip to CA and a bit into OR. Left on Friday and on return flight yesterday afternoon the pilot announced Phoenix temp was a balmy 92 degrees. Supposed to drop off 10-20 degrees during next ten days.

Just very "moderate" weather.

Early bloomers are dropping blossom petals

and late bloomers still pondering waking up.

The loquats are super sweet this year. Plentiful.

BIG STORM SUPPOSED TO HIT 2M in Central & Eastern πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Please share as it happens.

@Arab Nights - got wild flowers?

More spectacular than usual.
