We had high winds and cold temps today and it started to snow tonight here in North Western PA USA. The electric went out for a couple of hours today.

Blowing across the sea doesn't load it up on water,
to dump on cooler land, Australia?
I mean my dry, Santa Ana Winds come off the deserts, over mountains and
gain worsenss with the pressure of their decent from the mountains toward the ocean.
The E.A. :hearthrobLand has not reported.
Well I guess @Chesleyt - North West Pennsylvania is the eastern boundary being near @Dave.
BTW @Chesleyt I have a Generac Natural Gas generator that comes when the power goes out.
Wonderful devices.
Weather: Same as last report aboveward.

We got another 4-5 inches of snow here. Slows everything down except for the maniacs - I wave at them in the ditch. Snow guy didn't show up till late again. I had to clear the driveway so the Princess could go to work.

Hi fhunter
How's the weather is the land of the Rus?
Is it a Napoleon / Hitler turn back the invaders Winter?
Stephan Colbert just said it was -60F in Minneapolis and
Game of Thrones has carried their marketing too far.
Any news or whispers of White Walkers.
You do get Game of Thrones in Rusland, don't you?
They say rain is coming again.
I like it. It's that dry, dry air between rain events I don't like.
I told Rosa it was too early to plant corn because of the cold and it is not growing well.
The Sweet Shelling Peas are.

General Frost is lenient here. Around 0°C, snow/ice is melting (during the day). But I live in the city. Outside the city, it can be a whole different matter. And there can still be snow and frosts.
PS. I have seen "winter is coming" advertisements during previous winter here

Not sure if it is broadcast anywhere, but those who want - do watch it.

Wonderful YouTube link.
Thank you. I listened to it all.
Why do all Russian rock singers sound like they are "grating" their vocal cords?
Seems like you guys have had Winter - lite these last few years.
When was your last real Russian Winter as "we" imagine them to be?
@kristoff in Minnesota (?) seems to be having a harder Winter than RusLand.
Here it is that pre-rain chill. Feels cold but, numbers say it isn't that cold.
Probably this one will pass by and the next one on Saturday will precipitate.
