Last I heard Minneapolis got 9 inches. On top of the 26+ inches we already had in February. Everyone is driving ultra scared/safe, versus the few who are still driving like freaking maniacs. OTOH, I only got stuck once, and three guys shoveled me out. Went home at 230 and got the old 6hp snowblower out - my snow guy hadn't showed up yet. Had to get the DNP out of the driveway. Tonight I am staying inside and enjoying a good bottle of Cabernet.

These last two storms missed us in Indiana, with only the fringe of a bit of rain and micro-snowballs falling that were gone shortly. One day it's sunny, the next day it's dank and gloomy. Temps have been around 35F or so and no radical swings of late.

About two feet of snow. Sky is now blue and supposed to be up to 74 Tuesday.

we had about 1-2 inches overnight. Not worth shoveling. My snow guy won't get out of bed for less than 2 inches. Supposed to get 5 to 6 inches tonight. We'll see how well his snowblower works to0morrow.

My Southern California 50F feels so cold between rain events.

Snow visible in the mountains.

Clouds are due that usually make it feel warmer although temp is the same.

Picked an avocado. Came off easy but, still must ripen. They won't tree ripen.

Our first rain for 5 weeks! 38mm overnight! Bush fires in the south,(we never get them here in NZ). Temperatures where I live in the Bay of Plenty have been up to 37c, 5 to 6 degrees celcius hotter than average. We have no shortage of water. Lake Rotoma is crystal clear and fills two 9000 year old explosion craters. At 100 metres deep and around 13 square km, its a decent body of water. Our soils are from another eruption and are only around 600 years old. Raw ash with only a tiny amount of topsoil. The farmland is brown! Will be moaning about the cold, soon enough?

LOL, For the imperials, an inch and a half of rain, 100 degrees fahrenheit, 5 square miles and 300 feet deep. We are 1036 feet above sea level too. Must have been my accent. Its down to 50 f today. Cheers, Brycee
