Ps. a cat-centric view of creation: http://w

The Anderson House Hotel in Wabasha (think Grumpy Old Men), MN, had a similar offering of a cat with a room since the 1880s. They also served a magnificent Sunday Brunch Buffet. Unfortunately, they've gone out of business. The hotel now sits empty. Perhaps a stray cat?

As most of you know, I serve a cat, I also have a dog and we, the dog and I are well trained.

Funny thing happened the other day, Rupert broke something and I got mad at him, both he and the dog disappeared. I fixed what he broke then went on to other things, after a couple hours I realized neither Nelly or Rupert were in the LR with me so I went looking. On my bed they were, side by side next to each other, both looking at me wondering if I was still mad. I said something like 'so here you guys are, I was wondering what happened to you too' and they both turned to each other, nose to nose, communicated something only known to them looked back at me then both got up and went back to the LR and each sat right in front of their treat bowl.

So they both got some treats, I have them so well behaved. :)

Amazing how much better cats are at manipulating people, than people are at manipulating cats.

It did take a while, but now they understand cats are not for eating.

Old Fat Black Kitty continues her routine of late afternoons down the hill in the neighbors back yards

where she half naps and scans the hill for hill meat. Rather then go down to encourage her home at sunset

the neighbor goes out and signals her to go home as I call her.

She will no doubt figure out she does not have to come directly home.

So today she had her b'fast, outside period, inside snack, outside, inside snack but denied her late outside jaunt.

She did not seem to mind it much.

The 🐈 brothers just do their thing.

The big one, Solly always ready to eat and grow some more and little Izzy who goes out

come in for an uneventful day. It is the only time of day Izzy signals a desire to go outside.

Homo Sapiens, for some comfort and protection from elements created technosphere, economics and society. Petting and purring of all this takes on average about β…“ of a time for a given specimen. About the same amount of time as sleeping.

Felis Π‘atus, for the same purpose chose humans. Rare cat takes more than 1-2 hours a day to "pet and purr" its human.

Well, and who is more intelligent now? :-\:)

Yes, every time I Skype with Cainanite, I hear this continual buzzing background noise and realize it's the cat.
