I never had any pain in my testicles from the injections, just the prick of the needle going through the skin. My balls did swell up to about 3 times there normal size but all the pain was in my lower abdomen and that became no issue after the first 3 or 4 injections.

I broke my schedule yesterday and treated the "boys" to 1-1/2cc's of 80 proof. I think Lefty may be going through a change in life as he has gotten smaller over time and although he puffed up a bit after taking his shot...this morning he much smaller. His brother on the other hand is evidently fighting with all his might...he just doesn't want to get small like his brother....the little bastard!

For UK readers following this thread, bear in mind that the terms "proof" means different things in the US and UK. In the US (but not the UK) 100 proof is 50% alcohol by volume. so in reading posts from American readers, UK readers should convert by dividing by two to get the "alcohol by volume" that will appear on their bottles of vodka.

The higher the proof or pecentage of alcohol, the quicker the results, from my experience anyway. I started with 100 proof (50% alcohol) Smirnoff and switched to 190 proof (95% alcohol) Everclear, which seemed to speed up the process.

How many shots are you up to now? I stopped at 15 and the resilient bastards were still 50% and 30% functioning. Just for reference some believe that 25% functioning can still produce normal levels of T.

I stopped at eight and still have low libido. I'm waiting to see how things develop to decide if I need to continue with more shots. I'm just trying to control libido at the same level as when I was on Androcur.

I seem to be weaned off the Androcur now. The only difference that I notice so far is that I get rather weak nocturnal erections, something that I didn't have while taking CA. This seems to be a sometimes common occurence with surgically castrated men too from what I've read elsewhere on this site. Still no return of libido, however. What are the experiences of others who have gone from chemical castration to injections? Any noticable difference from one method to the other?

My friends last injection caused his left testicle to swell double in size and he has had to take pain killers and ran a low grade fever. He said that previous injections didn't hurt but the last one to both testicles he used Everclear and now his testicles are painful and lumpy. Is that normal? How long does it take for the swelling to go down?

My guess is that your friend is injecting too close together. When I started, I wanted to rush them too and after the third shot the aftermath was more painful. I started spacing the shots further apart and didn't have the problem any more. Mine was lumpy too but no longer, just hard. Normal swelling went down in about five days for me.
