My libido is reduced but not to zero, I don't have erections because a prostate cancer operation left me without hard-ons. Now I wait... I don't know wether to finish the work and continue until the testicles are pure stones and are very raised and/or stop and leave things like are now.

A urologist will send you right away for an ultrasound test. I remember being sent from there to a local hospital for a more involved ultrasound test and then an MRI of my groin area. Once I got through the second round of tests I was in surgery about 2 weeks later. I got lucky and my doctor decided to do a simple orchiectomy through my scrotum. If they think that it's cancer they might remove them through the inguinal canal which leaves you with some big scars around your pubic hair line. When your testicles reach the point that you described they aren't receiving any blood flow. Once they determine that there is no blood flow present, they will always want to take them out.
