Ok folks, it seems we have an issue here. Mac is now completely without a computer, and there's no way in heck he will be able to replace it on his own.
So, with the permission of the board here, I would like to propose that we start a small fundraiser, just aiming to see if we can get him back online. The computer that burnt out was an iMac G4. Those aren't really all that expensive to replace, when going through ebay or the like. In fact, it's not even all that much to get a G5. And this is Mac, if someone needs to be able to keep in contact with the outside world, it's him.
Ideally, it would be nice to raise $150 or so to get Mac back with us. So please, can anyone spare a few $$$ to help?

On the plus side, EunuKen gave me his last iMac - a mini-Mac, so I'm back
Also on the plus side, Jeanette has been in Juvenile Hall for over a week and is due in court on Sept 7th.

I uploaded all my historical research from my external HD so I'm ready for much more research
Ken did say I need to pickup another USB port connector. Once installed, i'll have five extra ports

Liz visited Jeanette in Juvenile Hall today and says she's fattened up; see what a lil food will do. There, she's getting three good meals a day. She was lucky to get one scrawny meal a day from Liz.

Tomorrow is Jeanette's court date. I'll let you all know when I'm told what the outcome is. Gee, this is just like a Soap Opera

Your life is a soap opera, one we've all been following for years now.

Speaking of my years of hard work, Slammr, when do I start collecting my residuals?

Life is full of pluses and minuses: on the plus side, I received a water bill and it said I only owed $3.00.
home from Juvenile Hall today. I wasn't given any details, thus far.
