When it comes to "weather", why not?
It ain't my fault.
When I want to "feel" a storm, I have to wait a long time for it to rain,
then I go to Huntington Beach State Beach because its' gently slopping shoreline gives it great waves, where the Santa Ana River flows into the ocean. There is the river meeting the ocean, waves, wind, stormy skies and rain. I love the feel.
Weather Channel has been bringing up the storminess across the EA :hearthrobland eastwards.
Please share.
No updates here since last report. Very unstimulating weather.
The best I can say about it is some times in the day, the gray becomes lovely clouds. We don't get much lovely clouds here so when they happen - it's special. This year particularly has been quite cloud pretty. El Ninozilla - no clouds. Drought - no clouds.

That cloud reminds me of my favorite bong.

My weather can be summed up in the Minbari's Gray Council sacrament repeated by its' members
"We are Grey. We stand between the darkness and the light."
Except here they call it May Gray and June Gloom.
I hear Moscow is having a memorable storm. Any Russkies here? Moscowvites? No not Moscow, Illinois.

Moscow, Idaho where you do not fight off the northern stormy gloom by lighting a campfire. You light a cross.

The weathermen broke into my JUDGE JUDY giggle-festival today five times in fifteen minutes.
Severe storms everywhere. Giant hulking terrible severe storms...
It showered for 15 minutes at my house. I know because I stare out the door at the backyard while I eat.
I'm down on weathermen today.

Gray.
Gray.
My world is Gray outside my back windows towards the ocean and overhead
Out my front door and windows it looks sunnier. The clouds broken. Even overhead.
Squirrel #20 has been captured and released.
It made good work of most of my apricots before I got him.
The garden seems in stasis. Boysenberries ripen slowly.
June Gloom is here! Still it is better than what happens after.
So stay around gloom, stay around.

Gray.
Gray
My world is gray.
Picked a small bowl of boysenberries and blueberries yesterday.
A few apricots, even two that fell off the tree. Not the best but, better than any market apricot.
After the gray comes the sunny, sunny heat so I am not too quick to wish the gray away.

No one got weather ?
There is a major heat alert all around me but, I live on a bluff,
with line of sight to the ocean, a mile away. And there was a
breeze that kept my home cool as it blew through for these last days.
A new attempt at corn is sprouting along with fava beans for the first time.
They don't sprout like normal legumes with 2 seed leaves.
Old Black Kitty seemed to be dying for a few weeks, now skin and bone.
She was drinking water and urinating but not eating.
I got her on high gravy foods and she takes the gravy only.
Now she is eating a bit more. She even nibbles hard food.
She has also gone blind to close things and will walk into a door she
doesn't expect to be closed.
Kitty hospice or retirement home. I do not know.

Thank you
Kitty is about 18 years old.
Not worth diagnosing kidney disease or diabetes or something forcing a special diet she would refuse.

Somewhere I read that the ancient Greeks thought you could judge the quality of a man by how he treated his animals who were too old to work.
That is one of the hardest things in the world to go thru, but she will still be with you after she passes.
