That which does not kill you, makes you stronger.
That walk would have killed me.

I saw my doctor and my blood sugar was well within limits, my BP was perfect, and my weight had decreased to 207. My doc gave me a referral to a podiatrist who deals with diabetics, renewed my two medications and gave me an Rx for Safe T. Pro Lancets.
On the minus side, I missed my ride back so I had to walk home, mostly uphill, in the hot sun. i'd guess I walked 7 miles but it felt like 20 :0
How often do the busses run?

In Mr. Wolf's case, that which does not kill him, makes him stranger. --FLO--

Now that is truly "carrying coals to Newcastle," You don't have to be strange to hang out around here, but is sure makes things easier.

Busses wise, I had no money on me and only $9 in my account which means I could take nothing out of my account from an ATM. Our ATM's here dispense only in $20 increments.
Believe me, I would have preferred the bus ride.
Oddly, my legs feel fine the day after.

You might have chili to last you. I doubt that you have Chile.

Thanks spadones, in times of hunger I often misspell words. I stand corrected and grateful

Again on the plus side, Time Warner let me pay the minimum of $129.05 this month, so I'll have money left for Wolf Chow.

Well, it took 48 hours but it finally happened: my legs and feet are feeling that 7.5 mile stroll - I feel like Kristoff borrowed my legs and played baseball with them.
